Filament developed for your application
When an off-the-shelf filament is not enough, we explore the possibilities of developing a customised material together. With our own compounding and extrusion, we can change the material itself, not just its colour. We help businesses, development teams and manufacturers who need specific properties.
What we can customise
- Base polymerPLA, PETG, PCTG, ABS, ASA, PC-ABS, TPU, PA-12, high-temperature PA, HIPS and others
- Fillers and reinforcementscarbon fibres (CF), glass fibres (GF) and wood particles
- AdditivesUV stabilisation, matte or silk finish, required burning behaviour, ESD (dissipative materials), heat resistance and metal-detectable TPU
- Hardness and elasticity of TPU
- Diameter and format1.75 mm and 2.85 mm, spools from 250 g to 10 kg, spool-free refill filament, neutral or your own label
- Colourmatched to RAL, Pantone or a sample (see Custom colours)
Who it is for
- Businesses printing functional parts that need consistent properties
- Development teams and laboratories testing new materials
- Printer manufacturers and brands wanting their own material
- Industries with requirements such as detectability in food production or weather resistance
Our development process
- Discussing the applicationTell us where the part will be used, the loads and temperatures it must withstand, the standards it must meet and which printers you use. If you have a drawing or a part that fails in use, send it to us.
- Material proposalBased on your requirements, we suggest materials and provide available technical data. By arrangement, we also supply a sample spool and starting print settings.
- Trial batchWe produce a trial quantity for your tests.
- AdjustmentsIf needed, we refine the formulation based on your results.
- Series productionWe save the approved formulation for repeatable production.
Confidentiality
Data confidentiality, rights to the developed formulation and any exclusivity are covered by a separate agreement. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) by arrangement.
Validation in your application
We confirm the feasibility of customisations and the required properties for each project. Metal-detectable TPU can help identify broken-off parts; detectability must be tested on the actual equipment under the intended conditions of use. Food contact requirements and verification of properties are addressed separately.
