Polycarbonate (PC) Filament – High-Strength and Heat-Resistant for Functional Parts

3DTrcek PC filament is engineered for professionals and makers who demand strength, impact resistance, and elevated thermal performance. Perfect for functional prototypes, high-load applications, and technical end-use components.

Designed for challenging environments, PC offers excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and thermal resistance. It is widely used in automotive, electronics, tooling, and aerospace due to its rigidity, toughness, and resistance to deformation under heat.

Whether you're printing strong brackets, housings, or lighting components, our PC filament ensures precise, reliable, and durable results across a wide range of demanding use cases.

Key Benefits of PC Filament

  • Exceptional strength and impact resistance
  • Heat resistance up to 120°C and higher with annealing
  • High clarity (for transparent PC versions)
  • Excellent stiffness and dimensional accuracy
  • Low creep and high tensile strength under load

Recommended Print Settings

  • Nozzle Temperature: 270–310°C
  • Bed Temperature: 100–120°C
  • Print Speed: 30–60 mm/s
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Surface: PEI, Garolite, or glue stick on glass
  • Enclosure: Recommended for best results
  • Drying: 70°C for 4–6 hours before use

Ideal Applications

  • Automotive components, load-bearing brackets, functional prototypes
  • Light casings, electrical enclosures, and high-temp housings
  • Tools, fixtures, and mechanical end-use parts
  • Projects requiring clarity (for transparent PC versions)

Printer Compatibility

  • Works with most enclosed printers: Prusa, Bambu Lab, Raise3D, Creality (enclosed), etc.
  • Requires hardened nozzle if printing blends or additives
  • Chamber recommended for best layer adhesion and dimensional stability
