PAHT CF filaments

PAHT-CF Carbon Fiber Filament – High-Temperature Strength for Engineering Applications

3DTrcek PAHT-CF is our premium carbon fiber reinforced filament made for demanding industrial applications. It offers a rare blend of tensile strength, stiffness, impact resistance, and thermal stability, making it ideal for functional prototypes, aerospace, drones, robotics, and automotive parts.

Despite its advanced formulation, PAHT-CF is easy to print and suitable for both professionals and ambitious makers. Its lightweight nature and performance make it a strong alternative to metal for many parts exposed to load, friction, or heat.

With low moisture absorption, chemical resistance, and excellent dimensional stability, it delivers reliable results with every print. Fully compatible with popular support materials (PVA, BVOH, HIPS), it enables clean dual-material workflows.

Why Choose PAHT-CF?

  • High-temperature resistance up to 180°C (short term), recommended ~150°C
  • Extremely high stiffness and tensile strength
  • Lightweight with carbon fiber reinforcement (15%)
  • Low moisture uptake and high chemical resistance
  • Made in Slovenia with over 45 years of extrusion experience

Recommended Print Settings

  • Nozzle Temp: 280°C ±10°C
  • Bed Temp: 105°C ±10°C
  • Speed: 30–80 mm/s
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Surface: PEI, Garolite, Blue tape, Kapton, or glass + 3DLAC
  • Nozzle: 0.6 mm hardened steel or ruby
  • Drying: 65°C for a few hours before printing

Best Use Cases

  • Robotic arms, UAV mounts, mechanical brackets
  • Automotive clips, covers, and metal-replacement parts
  • Functional end-use tools and jigs
  • Components exposed to heat, load, or friction

Printer Compatibility

  • Compatible with Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, Elegoo, and more
  • Requires hardened nozzles due to abrasive carbon content
  • Chamber not required but recommended for best results
