Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) filament is a flexible, durable 3D printing material known for its unique properties, making it a popular choice in various industries, from automotive to medical. As a form of Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE), TPU combines the flexibility of rubber with the ease of 3D printing, providing superior performance in applications requiring strength, impact resistance, and flexibility.
At 3D Trček, we are proud to offer our high-quality TPU 90A filament, specifically designed to provide excellent results for both professional and hobbyist 3D printing needs. Our product stands out for its precision, adaptability, and durability, making it a top choice for creators worldwide.
TPU filament is a type of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer that offers an ideal balance between flexibility and strength. Unlike traditional rigid filaments like PLA or ABS, TPU allows for the creation of parts that need to stretch or bend without breaking. It has a hardness of 90 Shore A, making it slightly more rigid than softer TPE filaments but still flexible enough for a wide variety of applications.
Due to its superior properties, TPU filament is widely used in industries requiring durable, flexible materials. Common applications include shoe soles, phone cases, seals, gaskets, and even prosthetic limbs.
At 3D Trček, we have over 10 years of experience manufacturing 3D filaments and over 45 years in plastic processing. Our TPU 90A filament is produced with the highest standards of quality, making it a reliable choice for various 3D printing applications.
Whether you are printing functional prototypes, flexible toys, or custom wearable items, our TPU filament offers a reliable and high-performance solution. Its flexibility makes it particularly useful for parts like hinges, seals, and anti-slip bases.
Printing TPU requires some adjustments compared to standard filaments like PLA or ABS. Below are the recommended settings to ensure the best results:
Our TPU 90A filament is compatible with most common FDM printers, such as Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, and Elegoo. However, we recommend using a printer with a direct drive extruder, as TPU tends to bend inside a Bowden tube, which can lead to inconsistent extrusion.
Storage: TPU should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To ensure optimal performance, keep the filament in an airtight bag with a desiccant.
At 3D Trček, we are more than just a supplier of 3D printing materials. We are a family-owned business with a passion for quality and innovation. Our deep understanding of thermoplastics and silicone rubber, combined with our dedication to customer service, makes us a trusted partner for clients worldwide.
